Mother's Day |
After the winter's gone, in the Springtime month of May, With nature in rebirth, we set aside a whole day; To honor a special someone, who we owe so much, That took time to guide us, with a gentle, loving touch. The person who lulled to sleep, with a favorite song, And stood faithfully beside us, through each right and wrong; Who took the time to listen, to each and every woe, With words of assurance, showed the way that we should go. So in appreciation, let it be known world-wide, That for this God-sent someone, we've set this day aside; To show how much we love you, we just wanted to say, Thank you, Mom, and to us, every day is Mother's Day. |
