Joanie's Poem

There is a lovely lady, who to, this poem, I send,
I just meet her online, but yes, I'd call her friend;
For when she is near me, she sets my heart aflame,
With the warm glow of friendship, and Joanie is her name.

A really delightful person, with a heart so grand,
There's no doubt at all, she belongs with our merry band;
For no where will she be, more welcome by everyone,
As each of us is like her, when all is said and done.

So my dear, Joanie, consider yourself a part of me,
Acceptance carries no fanfare, and there is no fee;
But there's one consolation, among the chosen few,
You've a place in my heart, so I wrote this poem for you.
