I'm Sorry

I said some things in anger, some things I now regret;
The things I've spoken harshly, I hope you can forget.
I didn't really mean them, but I was hurt inside;
Cause what you said upset me so, that I nearly cried.

But now I look back at what you said, and know that it was me;
I made more out of what was spoken, than there was to see.
So now I say I'm sorry, from the bottom of my heart;
And hope that my foolishness, has not driven us apart.

For I value your friendship, and the way you make me feel;
And to insure a future together, I will offer up this deal.
If ever I should offend you, in anything I say or do;
No matter how angry I may seem, I haven't stopped loving you.
