Friends |
Who would have ever thought it, who would have ever guessed, Two people living so far apart, could become the very best; Not of mere acquaintances, nor ships that pass in the night, But something much more wonderful, so very much more right. A chance meeting, unexpected, from which blossomed the rarest flower, Which has grown into a closeness, that increases hour by hour; A union of two spirits, who until now had journeyed apart, Have forged a special bonding, where the link is heart-to-heart. Thus from this day on forward, to each and everyone let it be known, As long as we two continue to be, the other will never be alone; Because we found in one another, that something that will never end, Something worth much more than gold, a companion and a friend. |
